AmEx Westpac Altitude Black Card Bundle with Altitude Qantas - 100K QFF Points $3K Spend ($349 Annual Fee 1st Year) @ Westpac

Honestly worst 100K deal around but hey if you have the capacity then go for it.

Alternatively, a much easier card would be the non bundle westpac card (only 80k points though): https://www.westpac.com.au/personal-banking/credit-cards/rew...

Fees are high, you need to get 2 credit cards and the minimum credit limits & spends on both cards are high.
Also unsure if this works if you have existing AMEX card.

Altitude Black Bundle
Essentials
Earn up to 3 Altitude Points or 1.25 Velocity or Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases in Australia, uncapped6
$349 annual card fees in the first year, $449 thereafter^^

Legal/settlement fee from incoming lender – Approx $100-$350
Discharge admin fee from outgoing lender – Approx $250-$350
Total fees approx $650 - $800 in most cases.

A low fixed rate can still save you more money as you can get an immediate benefit from today.
Always worth doing a calculation for your situation, eg:

If you have an existing loan and your rate is 3.09%, fixing at 2.59% will save you 0.5% each year.
On a $500k loan, that is a saving of $2500 every year.
If you're saving 0.5% and go with a lender giving rebates eg Westpac $6,000 for 2 properties, plus our Bundle Rebate of $1,500, that's a further $7500 in rebates, plus $2,500 interest savings, you are getting a benefit of $10,000 in just one year!

Let me know if we can help.
We have some of the lowest rates, and can get pricing discounts up to 1.9%.
Our policy is to beat any competitor/broker/lending manager with our rates and rebates, so will do whatever it takes to get the best deal for you.

You will not be charged or accrue any interest on an existing amount owing on your card
You will not be required to make any repayments.

You can apply for the COVID-19 support package if you:

  1. held your credit card account on the 1st January 2020 and
  2. haven’t applied for hardship assistance on this account, or the account isn’t currently under hardship assistance and

Westpac Balance Transfer Offer 0% Interest for 16 Months (2% BT Fee) or 24 Months Interest Fee

I recently decided to do a balance transfer from my Westpac credit card to another card. I called them and they said the only offer available to me was the offer they currently had available, which is on their website (6.99% p/a for 12 months using the code REF12). I said I would think about it, so I went looking for a better deal.

Well, an old code from 2018 from OzBargain seemed to work, WAALB, which is 0% interest for 16 months with a 2% balance transfer fee.

Pretty much, you login to your credit card account, go to SERVICE > SERVICES > BALANCE TRANSFER and put the promo code in the promo code field when filling in your details. If you have applied for the covid-19 financial assistance where Westpac gives you 0% interest for 3 months, you will need to call to remove that or wait for that 3 months to finish as Westpac say they won't do a balance transfer if someone has that on their account. For me, the balance transfer worked overnight (though I am still waiting for the money to appear in my either card, it has been taken from the Westpac card).

So, if 6.99% isn't good enough, and I don't think it is when you can get 0%, then give it a try if you are needing to do a balance transfer.

(Note: I have updated the code to include a 24month 0% code mentioned in the comments because it is better, really).

MOD: Westpac stated that the offer is only meant for selected customers, and is no longer working. Marked as expired.

Westpac up to 3% Interest on Savings (up to $30,000) for 18-29 Year Olds

Just read about this on a news.com.au article - 3% savings rate is amazing but sadly im too old. Better then I am getting on ING though so thats fairly amazing even if it is only the 1st $30k. I copied the T&Cs below seems legit

3% p.a. variable interest: earn up to 3% p.a. variable interest each month when you meet the criteria for both Westpac Life variable interest and Spend&Save Bonus variable interest. For bonus interest qualification, a month is the period from close of business on the last business day of the prior month to close of business on the last business day of the current month.

  1. Westpac Life variable interest: to earn the variable interest, which currently includes a 0.40% standard variable base rate plus a 0.60% p.a. variable bonus rate, you must make a deposit to your Westpac Life account, ensure the account balance is higher at the end than the beginning of the month and keep the account balance above $0. Interest is calculated on the daily balance of your Westpac Life account and paid on the last business day of the month.

  2. Spend&Save bonus variable interest: to earn the bonus variable interest, you must make 5 eligible purchases with the debit card linked to your Choice account and have these settled (not pending) within a calendar month. [VIC] Free 1 Hour Online Coding Session for Kids Aged 7-12 @ Code Camp

In partnership with our STEM partner, Code Camp, Westpac is offering Victorians impacted by the COVID-19 stage three restrictions free online technology education sessions for the additional week of school holidays.

As part of the offer, 20,000 Code Camp one-hour coding sessions are available to Victorian students from Tuesday 14 July until Friday 17 July. The sessions are designed to help children develop their technology skills and ignite their passion for a career in technology as they learn how to code.

Children will also get the opportunity to create their own online game with awesome features including zombies, unicorns, invisibility cloaks and so much more. The sessions are instructor-led and entirely virtual, ranging from block coding to JavaScript, and are aimed at school children aged 7-12 years old.

Code Camp is a provider of school holiday and after-school programs that teach students how to design, code and build apps. Founded in 2013, Code Camp has helped over 100,000 kids to become digital creators and innovators during their face-to-face programs. Their shift to a digital program during COVID-19 has allowed them to inspire and educate even more Australians, while continuing to grow their business.

Westpac’s State General Manager for Victoria, Mark Melvin, said: “It’s a challenging time for Victorians, especially for parents of school age children in areas with stage three restrictions.

“As a small gesture of support for Victorian parents facing an extra week of school holidays, we’re pleased to offer free coding sessions through Code Camp and help engage young people with technology. Learning to code is a fun way for kids to test their creativity and problem-solving skills,” he said.

Westpac Chief Information Officer, Consumer and Enterprise, Anastasia Cammaroto, said: “Westpac is committed to helping equip children with valuable technology skills through our sponsorship of Code Camp. It’s important that we engage children early in technology to help open up a workforce of the future that embraces the digital revolution,” she said.
